Howdy! We're the original Flying Popcorn Ranchers: Littlebird and Brian, Apryll and Joost. Apryll is Littlebird's daughter, Brian is Littlebird's husband, Joost is Apryll's husband. And Shasta is the family dog.
who are we?
Life for us is a joyful experience! Of course living where we do gives us a decided advantage. We don't even have to get in a car to have a wilderness experience. We live way out in the sticks in the heart of Montana's northern Rockies with THE BIG WILD just out our door. And we like it that way!
We work hard, but we also play hard. Mountaineering, hiking, ski touring, mountain biking, backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, and rafting are all within easy reach.
It doesn't get much better than this... except for cold nights, long winters, blizzards, ticks, deer flys, hornets, grizzly bears, isolation, non existent economy (seems every place has its challenges), and mosquitos...
